You're probably saying to yourself yes he must be kidding about barbecue-meatloaf, there was no such a thing just… meatloaf.
Yes I understand you running away from the supper table when your mom used to call you to have meatloaf. I used to disappear myself with the various different excuses of not feeling well, having eaten too much lunch, or just say that I have to study.
That was my excuse for many years because it is true for most of my life I never had time to do anything because I was busy studying medicine.
anyway that's enough for my rambling about meatloaf and let's talk now about barbecue-meatloaf which is very easy to do and when you will yell to your family that you are having barbecued-meatloaf they will come running to you instead of away from you.
The secrets of barbecue-meatloaf is the barbecue sauce
You need to pick a very good sauce the barbecue-sauce that you like and that you know your family likes and that will be the foundation of a great tasting meatloaf.
2 large sweet onions
3 pounds of ground beef 80% protein 20% fat
2 cups of your favorite barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons of chili powder
1 cup of instant oats
1 cup of Italian bread crumbs
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Go ahead and make the meatloaf
In a large mixing bowl mix all the above ingredients to a smooth consistency. Pour olive oil into the bottom of a baking metal plan.
Spread the olive oil on the bottom of the pan and then place your meatloaf into the pan and heat oven to 350°F.
Cook your meat loaf for approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hour. Check temperature with the instant read thermometer when the temperature reached 160°F here meatloaf is ready. Turn off oven and sprinkle meatloaf with grated Parmesan cheese.
Serve your meatloaf with the side of barbecue beans and coleslaw and enjoy.
You probably will not have any leftovers because everyone will be asking for seconds!
